Renewing Sexual Desires when Trying to Conceive

When two people are trying to conceive for a specific period of time… well… sexual intercourse might change into scheduled sexual encounters for the purpose of conceiving. Sexual desires come second – and the first thing that comes to mind is… to conceive… and yeah… that kind of thinking is a sex drive killer. The intrusion of “sex on demand” challenges the intimacy of your relationship.

Additionally, when woman and a man are under stress (and trying to conceive for long period of time is stressful), there is a good chance that their sex drive is going to be negatively affected. Consequently, if you aren’t interested in sex, that obviously limits the ability to conceive. (more…)

Infertility Followed by Sexual Dysfunction: Infertile Women Have more Sexual Problems

Recently a study conducted by Stanford University Medical Center in California was published in medical journal Fertility and Sterility.

Researchers observed almost 120 women with infertility issues that were undergoing treatment in their infertility clinic. As a control group they observed almost 100 fertile women.  Both groups were recruited from the university gynecology clinic, and were similar in terms of age, average weight, education levels and racial and ethnic makeup.

Sexual Intercourse after Miscarriage
