For people who cannot conceive a baby, either naturally or with artificial insemination, the only way to make their dream of parenthood come true is by adopting a child.

People who want to adopt a child must go through a screening process, a process that is rigorous and intense.  And it should be. Being a parent is one of the greatest responsibilities an adult can have: it is irreversible responsibility.
