Hi,

Like lots of you ladies, I am getting ready for a baby… or at least trying for a baby. I've looked at stuff I should do in terms of health and lifestyle before pregnancy, and I learned a lot. One thing is obvious though, and that is that I should give up smoking before pregnancy. I've been a smoker for almost a decade and I am NOT looking forward to this part. Do you have any advice for me on this please? Thank you.

Hi, 

I just quit smoking a little over two weeks ago, and I highly recommend it! The first five or so days were really hard, and then it got a lot easier. Wanting a baby should give you a little extra motivation too! I started exercising the same day I quit and did either pushups or ab crunches every time I felt like a cigarette. I am relieved to be without them. You can do it too!
